Locate a place where tubing can run as straight as possible without looping or extreme bending. Fewer connections and tubing allows for easier installation.

Be careful not to damage the tube connection fitting. With an air gap faucet, the drain line water from the RO membrane is routed up to the bottom of the faucet where it drops into a non-pressurized trough and then flows by gravity down to the sink drain. A standard faucet has only the permeate line, the one on the left.
